Praful Ramineni MD
Dr. Ramineni grew up in upstate New York, where he developed a love of medicine from his father. Upon graduating from high school, he was accepted into an extremely competitive 6-year combined undergraduate/medical school program in Ohio, where he completed his 4-year undergraduate degree in just 2 years. Dr. Praful Ramineni joined West End Plastic Surgery in Washington, D.C., with 10 years of experience as a plastic surgeon at Medstar Washington Hospital Center. As the Chief of the Division, he was clinically the busiest plastic surgeon at the hospital, seeing over 200 patients a month in the office and performing 600 to 900 surgeries a year. He recently made the transition to focusing on his elective practice to be able to provide more personalized care to each patient.
With multiple medical textbook publications and top educator awards, Dr. Ramineni is a multiple-time winner of Washingtonian Top Doctor and certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
